Event Production and Management Internship – For Hire in Toronto

Are you ready to swap textbooks for timelines, lectures for logistics, and campus for conferences? If so, we want you on the WildBash Events team. 

We’re looking for event production and management interns. This internship allows you to unleash your creativity in ways you never thought possible, with exposure to various events like weddings and social and corporate events.

Internship Highlights

Location: North York (Toronto)

Job Type: Unpaid internship for college credit (co-op placement/externship). Please apply only if you’re comfortable with the terms.

Ideal for: University and co-op students

Details: Internships last at least 90-120 days, requiring a minimum of 16 hours per week onsite, including weekends and event weeks. Interns may also work past midnight during events and assist with tasks for our sub-brands. College credit is available; consult your academic advisor for approval steps.

Intern Responsibilities 

  • Assist in planning, designing, and managing events for clients and sister companies
  • Provide outstanding customer service, including assisting walk-ins, managing appointments, and maintaining showrooms
  • Help with general office upkeep, cleaning, and website maintenance
  • Respond promptly to event inquiries
  • Handle client orders, quotes, invoices, contracts, and phone calls
  • Perform data entry tasks, including research and bookkeeping
  • Schedule and host site visits, as well as attend networking events
  • Prepare, pack, and clean client orders, rental items, and decor
  • Ensure event venues are left clean and orderly
  • Confirm cleanliness and proper storage of decor items, tools, and equipment
  • Process payments and issue receipts
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional strategies and materials
  • Assist in food preparation and presentation during events
  • Carry out event tasks like site visits, coordination, setup, cleanup, and teardown
  • Engage in crafting, floral design, balloon work, decorating, and painting
  • Assist with other production and event-related tasks
